CHALLENGE

Coca-Cola aimed to create a collection of over 100 unique pins to commemorate the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, with the goal of enhancing brand engagement for both and celebrating cultural exchange.

ROLE

Project Manager

SOLUTION

As Project Manager, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the high standards of the pin collection. I oversaw the production process from concept to final delivery, collaborating closely with the client, the production factory, and designers, including Bruno Lemgruber and Marcus Santos. Our design-driven approach was crucial in identifying and solving communication and experience challenges. The result was an official Olympic-licensed product: a collection of limited-edition pins featuring a triple-layered metal design and a unique edition number, ensuring their exclusivity and appeal to collectors.

IMPACT

The Coca-Cola Rio 2016 Olympic Games pin collection was a resounding success. The pins were highly praised for their design and quality, significantly boosting brand engagement during the Games. Internally, the project was not just recognized but celebrated within Coca-Cola as a model for future Olympic promotions.
